...Thanks to a picture drawn by actual friend and fellow artist , I was inspired to have my hand at the theme. The picture made me remember all my favorite childhood stories, and I thought, "Hm... I haven't played with ANYTHING lately." And so, here I am, typing this journal entry up because regardless of how tired I am (and sore...gawd), I cannot sleep. Awesome.

Anywho, the theme of the pic was Romance: Love or Lust? Sure, some of you guys are shaking your head at this point while others don't care--"That's nothing." True, the line (IF real or not) between lust and love is always questioned/dealt with, but screw that for a moment--I may be on to something. Though the idea's nothing to "Ooh" at to most of you, I thought it interesting; my friend went with a fairy tale theme, and the girl within the picture portrayed Alice from Alice in Wonderland. Thus, the descension into madness commenced! I faced 3 of my favorite stories:

1) The Nutcracker (Prince)
2) Beauty and the Beast
3) The Swan Princess/Swan Lake

Now lets see... after much deliberation, I struck out #2 and #3--I proclaim my uber plain, average self so there's no way I could get all pretty to be a "Beauty" (nor can my movements, actions, attitude, etc. be described as "graceful as a swan"). The safest bet was the Nutcracker Prince...with room for ACTION and an opportunity to tweak the stories to my own crazy thoughts. That said, here's MY idea of my Nutcracker Prince picture:

...Word on the streets that the new boss in the Underground world is the Rat King, tyrant and punk that owns and runs the "Doll House", a night club. (I'm still debating whether or not I should go to extremes...like S&M club? Or just some random seedy establishment...Strip club? NO, MUST PRESERVE INNOCENCE--DANCE CLUB--) ANYWAY, through some mix-up, bad timing, and a bored artist's mind, the "heroine" Nazomi is kidnapped along with others by the Rat King's lackeys, and must work in said club. And so, Naz kiss her carefree, NORMAL days goodbye as she serve up the booze and plot her escape...

...The only person who can help her is the "Nutcracker Prince", rival to that of the Rat King in both status and powah (Power*, s'cuse me). If only she could persuade him--the guy isn't called the Nutcracker Prince for nothing; the man's more like an "Iron prince"--stoic, sometimes cold, manipulative.

Hm...not quite sure how the romance fit, but I think it'll be fun... o_<; (No worries, I'm OVERLY-SENSITIVE/AWARE TO POSSIBLE PLOT HOLES! DX)
